A simple Bourgogne from a good winemaker can outshine poorly made wines selling at a multiple of the price. These wines all have excellent provenance, and represent some of the best value in Burgundy. They are wines that will age, but which can also be drunk now. Great every day drinking and a treat with some home cooking!
Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2014 - Claude Dugat
Maybe the most age worthy of the wines. Nose of fresh raspberry and white pepper. On the palate what a structure ! Tannins are firm and acidity makes it almost too lively. Only age will subdue this wine.
Hautes Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir 2014 – Domaine Perrin
Coming from a south facing plot in the Upper part of Burgundy, this wine shows an explosion of ripe fruits (strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant) on the nose ! on the palate the fruit doesn’t lose intensity, soft and round, this award winning wine is very easy to drink and would be good as an aperitif !
Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2014 – Sylvain Pataille
Sylvain is one the winemakers of Marsannay who has turned this village into a stronghold of biodynamie in the Côte de Nuit.
Amazing red & black fruit intensity on the nose as well as on the palate. Very supple, it will go well with any kind of beef.
Bourgogne Chardonnay 2014 – Bruno Clair
One of the first organic wines from this great estate. Way more famous for its reds, we found there lately this great value chardonnay ! Ripe citrus coming with mineral notes, it is round, lively, very well balanced with a beautiful intensity. The surprise of the month !

Bourgogne les Pinces Vins 2014 – Domaine Burguet
The Burguet brothers have created a very refined Bourgogne. Nice aromas of dark berries such as black cherry; the mouth is quite rich and slightly tannic. This wine will benefit from a couple of years in your cellar, but is already very enjoyable. Great balance.
Bourgogne Gueule de Loup 2011 – Domaine Goisot
This wine takes us to the north of Burgundy, 20 km west of Chablis. Intense nose of dry hay, spices and ripe stonefruit.
